I look at America and I see potential for greatness, but this greatness has a price. The American dream is to be prosperous but many of the citizens have gotten the idea that America will hand it to them. They have to work hard to get to where they want, and frankly, I have found that a portion of American has taken up the bad habit of sloth. Though I see these bad habits, I have not given up hope of America becoming proactive and majorly successful; in fact, I have even taken steps to help fix this problem. I have lowered my workers wages and told them that if they want to get their fortune, they have to work hard to get it. It made some people work harder, but most took the easier route and called me a Business Tyrant who took advantage of the poor. Even though it was a downfall for me, I contributed to the formation of Unions which in end made American life better for more people. When it comes to my beliefs in industry, I have a phrase I coined, "Put all your eggs in one basket, and watch that basket". I bought everything I needed to run my business so I had complete control over my business. Besides my preferred structure of a business, I find that industry is the only way we can make our country wealthy and powerful enough to keep what our Constitution promised.
