Andrew Carnegie- Honestly I do agree with what you have to say in some regards, but you are a very selfish man. Greed is what overpowers you. You say you are about the "hard work" but who wants to do that hard work for the wages you give them? Their wages for their "hard work" does not pay off at all. It is a terrible concept that you need to grasp to fully understand Americas labor force and how it works.
Andrew Carnegie- Come to think about it, I do now realize why they call you a business tyrant. It all makes sense. Your policies are corrupt and I suggest you alter them. Who are you to tell America what to do? Once you make some REAL policies, then we can talk about your devised "plans".
Eugene Debs- Eugene I genuinely agree with your statements and beliefs. I really do believe that people are inherently selfish. Now, there are exceptions with everything, but humans are cruel beings that do cruel actions such as Boss Tweed.
Eugene Debs- As I read your philosophies of what should be done, I cannot help but nod my head in approval. You know how to run things in America. Your ideas are beautifully structured. We DO need people to help out those less fortunate, with the help of us raising wages and stopping the scandals that are among us. I believe also in equal rights and opportunity for all. That is what we fought for is it not? I do believe as well that is a big part of our country no matter what race, age, gender, or religion.
General James B. Weaver- I do have to agree with what you are trying to say. Sometimes this industry deal is way too much for people to handle. I can tell there are some major problems that need to be addressed to the public and be seen as an issue. Work conditions and wages are not fair at all and this needs to be addressed. I would love to cartoon about this issue and give a very picturistic view of this for people to closely grasp what is going on.
Boss Tweed- I am absolutely disgusted by your lack of care for people in society besides yourself. I do agree with Debs in the fact that individuals are selfish. You are a prime example! What you have done at Tammany Hall is atrocious and manipulative to the people. What you have done just to gain money for yourself needs to be apprehended immediately. You are the reason I make cartoons. I want the general public to know how much of a disgusting man you are.
President McKinley- You sir are also highly disliked by me. You use your tariffs to an unfair advantage. Also with big businesses, they go against what I believe in, equality and fairness. You supporting them completely and giving them all these advantages does not impress me too much. In fact, it upsets me to the fact that I shall also draw up something about big business as well. Big businesses are corrupt.
